Greetings... (in New players)

Hi. I just started and while this does look interesting, I do have some questions that I'm hoping someone can answer for me.

1. Am I right in thinking that, unlike other internet games like this, you can't get "jacked" while you're offline? Because this looks like a good thing to me.

2. Is there other ways to get money other than fighting?

3. Is there another way of getting "stuff" other than purchasing and/or forging it?

I guess the gist of the last 2 questions is whether or not I'm missing some part of the game. All I've been doing is fighting, and if there is more to the game, I want to get in on it, you know?

Anywho, thanx and all in advance.

1. I don't know what getting "jacked" is, so I think you can safely assume that means no, you can't. O_o

2. Yes, you can forge for profit, and you can buy/resell for profit. Aside from that...not really.

3. Purchase from stores, auctions, players, and Supporters items from Jon for USD.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! We'd all love to help! =D

If by jacked you mean killed, then yes you can be killed while offline, but I assure you it's no big deal, as it has almost no consequences, and you revive straight away, too.

3. Purchase from stores, auctions, players, and Supporters items from Jon for USD.**

** Or you can trade $CB money with other players so you can have them pay $USD for you. You don't have to use $USD to play this game.

Also, I should have said:

Welcome :)

Thank you. Yes, by being "jacked" I did mean being killed, but in more of a "getting really messed up" sense, like you work real hard to get somewhere and then, overnight, someone comes along and takes everything while you're not looking.

I do appreciate all the help. Thanx.

being killed doesn't wreck you and your progress, so its okay. It only affects your score which doesn't really matter.

Welcome. :)

how come this guy doesn't have a mentor?

Admin{CB1}Slayer333 [SHIELD] June 23 2007 6:51 PM EDT

He either didn't complete the tutorial, or I believe that it is possible to not receive a mentor if no mentors are active in chat. (maybe? :p)

Either way, welcome Dukethor, and if you have any more questions, anyone on the forums or in chat will be glad to answer :)

Flamey June 23 2007 6:53 PM EDT

I believe that you can't post on the forums if you haven't completed the tutorial?

dukethor June 27 2007 12:40 PM EDT

Ok, I give up. Where is this tutorial, or did I already go through it?

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] June 27 2007 12:42 PM EDT

It usually is the first thing you do when you join :) You likely went through it, but if you still have questions, please do ask them here, someone will certainly be able to light your lantern on remaining "?" points :P
