A similar engine had trouble with cooling and lubricating internal parts, since the nature of some rotary engine is that it can be hard to get to the center. The Wankel has had its share of issues (but at least made it to production in Mazda cars) while some newer designs still have trouble with overheating.
The MYT has not been run with fuel yet, only compressed air. So, the devilish details of heat and running under active load still loom. Best of luck, though!
