Tournaments - Some Love!! (in General)

Ok, I've seen a lot of posts about bugs and problems - and that's cool, we need to know these things. But I thought the tourney coming back would be filling the forums with love. I'm loving it I have to say.

It's fun for one thing; my favourite times fighting are when I have somebody building a char at the same time. Last year me and Sefton were going toe to toe with our chars and it is great working out ways to take them on, getting ahead, finding ways to protect your own team against them. It's the competition that makes it interesting. The speed of the tourneys was something I'd forgotten too. CB can be such a slow motion game, that to play it at such speed reminds me of how much I enjoyed the game when I first started.

There's a lot of talk about tattoos. I've had no help from anyone on this front but I've managed to buy two tattoos in this tourney - it would have been one but I completely forgot about the tattoo artist!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first two or three hours of the tourney they were just sitting in auctions with a BIN, so it wasn't like I was camping and I certainly haven't been making more money than other players. I can understand some people's concerns - but I suspect it's less about other people using tattoos and more about people making money out of this.

Anyway......back to the love! I LOVE TOURNAMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most interesting thing is that I used up like 4 hours of my time just to burn all the initial 1000 BA LOL Searching and inspect every enemy to fight.. analysing the strat that everyone uses... etc WOW I had never felt so involved in CB for the past few years!

Also, it should play "Eye Of The Tiger" when you are spending BA in tourney.

I'd just like to add that I really love the separate BA and business side to tourney characters. Correct me if I'm wrong but tourneys used to be run on the same BA as the rest of your chars right? So you were forced to choose between the two. But this - it's like getting a whole ton of extra BA - perfect for somebody who is addicted to the down click!!!
