This was so duh when th00p said it to me. He said it as a joke (UC + CoC.... hyuk hyuk...) but I think it could be good.
The whole premise of UC already makes since when combined with DD. Mages are unarmed, so.... unarmed combat should benefit them. Now, it already has the evasion, which I like. But it needs to give some other sort of bonuses to mages.
So, I propose a base percent based system when UC is trained on a mage. 1.0 being highest, same system as BL or Archery, and the system being percent based. For every .1 you have, that's 1(this could change, anywhere from .05 or 2) percent of DD.
It's balanced with bloodlust or archery because while it only affects one stat and mages on train one, it requires more exp to keep it that high.
