Fight bug? (in General)
I just had a battle with WhereTheWindBlows' character Kaiser, which went like this:
The End of Days defeated Kaiser after 2 rounds of combat... (Useless stuff)
...Play-by-play
The End of Days
Nuclear Holocaust cast Dispel Magic on all enemy Minions (1,450,821)
Apocalypse cast Dispel Magic on all enemy Minions (1,451,525)
Meteor Strike cast Guardian Angel on all friendly Minions (?)
Nuclear Holocaust cast Protection on all friendly Minions (12)
Apocalypse cast Ablative Shield on all friendly Minions (861550)
Kaiser (no enchantments)
Ranged Combat:
Round 1:
Meteor Strike's familiar's Magic Missile hit Miss Direction's familiar [192002]
Miss Direction's familiar's Magic Missile hit Apocalypse [595549]
Apocalypse's Guardian Angel smote Miss Direction's familiar (244973)
Round 2:
Meteor Strike's familiar's Magic Missile hit Miss Direction's familiar [243599]
Miss Direction's familiar's Magic Missile hit Apocalypse [387483]
Apocalypse's Guardian Angel smote Miss Direction's familiar (159612)
R.I.P. Apocalypse
R.I.P. Miss Direction's familiar
That's the end of the battle. Kaiser's familiar was the only one fighting, since it was the only one that died. Its enchanter which equipped it wasn't alive. This wasn't a double tap, and I was the only one attacking Kaiser at the time.
So how was the familiar the only minion alive throughout the battle?
IIRC the battle summary won't always show some one else failing an attack, so that is most likely the case here. Were the fight rewards really low as well?
Uh...
I'm not sure what that means - and I can't remember the fight rewards either -_-
Something astoundingly similar transpired during a bout inamongst Mikel and Bast.

I don't get it, what happened and why is it an anomaly or bug?

Flamey, the enchanter equipped with the Steel Familiar was never killed, but the fight was considered over.
Since it was not a double tap, Fanta is wondering why the fight did not last one more round to kill the enchanter.
Your exegesis is most impressive, Talion, and probably facile enough even for the jejune! Plaudits to you!

Someone could've lost attacking him, but caused the enchanter to die, in which Fanta then attacked him. Like a double-tap, but Someone else did the first tap and then Fanta did the second one.
No, it wasn't a double tap, I checked the fight log. I was the only attacker during that time... this is just weird.
Talion,
The enchanter wasn't alive at all. He didn't cast his enchantments, as you can see.

Fanta, just noticed the no enchantment thing... Weird!
Bast, you reply was just pathetic. LOL! At least you'll make a few 20's. You are a prime candidate for a "What would you do for $100 bucks?" game show.
Well actually Flamey brings up an interesting point. I believe a person who attacks someone with a familiar will lose the battle if the familiar is still standing but the opponent would be comatose. Not sure about it though.
But at least the healing penalty treats it like you're dead... haha I know I brought this up in my other thread but still...
That change was supposed to be reverted a very long time ago. Basically, it used to be that if the only minion left standing was a familiar, then it'd be counted as a loss. Perhaps it wasn't fully reverted in certain esoteric situations.

Sorry about the off topic post here due to my contest, Fanta. It won't happen again.
It's okay, I don't care :P Whatever posts about your contest are fine with me.
