Recently my chat hasn't been working. Whenever I login, the chat screen shows:
Chat Blender 3.1.7. starting...
-- /alreadyon
Error: Access Denied
It periodically tries to reconnect me to chat, but all that accomplishes is spamming my chat box with endless 'Error: Access Denied' messages.
Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

I just /killed you from chat. Give it an hour or so and see if you can get back on. If not, I'm not sure where to go from there, but I'm sure someone else will. :)

mine was doing that also, I went to the javasun website and downloaded an earlier version - it works fine now

Earlier or Newer version of Java Applet?
The chat applet has issues with Java 6. Stick with the latest JAva 5, which I think is 5.12
/kill sometimes fixes this, other times a name change will do it

Yeah that's what I installed and it works like a charm now.
i think i had this same problem earlier an i think i ended up having to have gb change my name for me, so maybe try changing your name if nothing else fixes it.

I dont think the Java update worked; I probably did it wrong.
