I've got some decent equipment on my tourney char, and it would be a real shame to let it disappear with the char. After I've fought all my battles, I can put it into auctions. But what happens if my tourney character has an active auction when the end of the tournament arrives and he is retired?

If so, this is good. Maybe a new player can pick up some decent starting gear then.

This sounds like a good idea, I will do the same with any gear I collect during the tourney.

Would the armor and weapons be used, by whoever bought them? Or would they just be bought as bibelot's for someone's Farm Team?
Another option would be for someone to purchase it all, and then sell it again for profit in the next tournament?

It doesn't really matter to me if someone buys it for resale, that is what is happening at the moment anyway. This way there is the chance that if enough people do this, and do it regularily, there will be enough equipment in the market to satisfy demand and keep prices down. An upgraded Hard Leather Armor isn't going to fetch much more in the auction than it's base +1 counterpart.
