Betting for T4!

This is how it works:

Everybody can bet on one or more Character(s) that he thinks will win. Please post the name of the Character(s) you think will win and the transferlog of your bet in this post. Transfer all bets to my character Tourney Betting Office.

Betting:

Post the name of the Character you think will win in this post. The amount you can bet on one character is not limited but should be at least 1k. The more you put into the pot, the more you will win (if you win). Also the number of characters you can bet on is not limited.

Prizes:

If only one person bets on the right character this person will win 95% of the whole pot.
If more than one person bets on the right character the pot will be split, according to how much each person put into the pot.
5% of the total pot will be held back for a starting pot for the next tourney.

Example: Two persons bet on the right character, one person put in 1k the other one 2k, first person will get 33% of the pot, the other person will get 66% of the pot.

I will stop taking bets for T4 at July 21, 6:00 PM EDT.

The betting percentage for the pot will decrease every day at 6:00 PM EDT as follows:

1st day: 100% --> 1k counts as 1k
2nd day: 92% --> 1k counts as 920
3rd day: 83% --> 1k counts as 830
4th day: 73% --> 1k counts as 730
5th day: 62% --> 1k counts as 620
6th day: 50% --> 1k counts as 500

This is implemented since it might be more obvious who will win the tourney every day.

alright, to explain that percentage thing better:

If you bet 10k on the first day and the pot should be split in the end your 10k will actually count as 10k regarding how much % of the pot you will get.

If you bet on the 6th day your 10k would only count as 5k regarding pot splitting.

So if one person bet 10k at the first day and another person bet 10k at the 6th day (counting only as 5k) and the pot gets split between those two, the first person will get 66% and the second only 33%

also nobody will lose money by winning, i'll make sure of that :)

Nerevas has yet to finish a single tournament, I think.

Right, that's one of the risks if you're betting early in the week, that's why you win more if you bet early and actually win ;) at the 6th day you can be quite sure that not much will happen anymore, that's why your winning percentage is low at the later days :)

well, the way it looks, Chaos___UK (Rubberduck) has won the tourney, congrats rubberduck :)

therefore nobody won on the betting post either, the 125k stay in the pot for the next tourney betting post :)
