I got one a couple months ago, and I just broke my mini-receiver..Well I didn't really break it, which is why I'm posting, but I bent it - the signal is now hit or miss between the mouse and receiver. I know this happens a lot with these mice so I was wondering if anyone ever did this, and if there is a way to fix it without replacement.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and worth a nice sum of $CB. :)

Without getting too technical, you could try to boost the signal with a battery hookup, or you can try to *fix* your mini reciever, although i dont really know how to do that as i dont really know what is wrong with it. Maybe if you gave a few more details, myself or someone else could help you more.

Well, it looks very similar to a USB 'memorycard'. Just a USB plug with a couple inches of a microchip, I guess, incased in black plastic. Possibly you could find a picture on the logitech website. Basically the microchip bent a little, got the white stretchy look to it. I have no technical knowledge of this but I would imagine that only half the circuits are working or something so the signal is really poor.
it seems there are some receiver only auctions on ebay.
