Ayame Faeynaisirv and Ahirial Farothedhelgurthdil grew up in the elven village Calandris. It was small, even for an elven village, housing only six families including Ayame's and Ahirial's. It was the main provider for enchanted jewelry, a fact not known to many, and a location sought by many more. Growing up in such a small village meant being in a tight knit community. As small children they were playmates, doing things children did: chase, swim, play hunting, and growing with each other. One evening they were out helping their mothers prepare the dinner, gathering the goats for the meal. Suddenly, the forest went silent, and goblins appeared out of the trees. Their mothers quickly stashed
them away together in a small compartment in the goat pen, the smell of the animals deterring the two young elves' scents. They watched, huddled together and frightened as everyone and everything in the village was killed by the invaders, including the goats that saved their lives. When all was over, they came out of their hiding spot and looked upon the carnage, vowing then to do whatever it took to get back at the goblins for the heinous crimes committed that day. They gathered a few mementos: Ahirail somberly walked to his home where he took a picture of his mother and him and his father's composite long bow. He then walked over and kneeled at the side of a close friend slain in the one-sided battle, taking the doll that was still in his hand, promising him he would avenge all their deaths. Ayame knew exactly what she wanted and went for the first necklace her mother and she made, a few tears falling as the fond memories returned of them making the chain and amulet then enchanting it, followed by that of her mother being split in half by the goblin leader's sword. They grouped up at the temple of Obad-Hai, and headed for the nearest village where they were separated, going to two different homes and believing they would never see each other again. A century later, Ahirial was a traveling performer, doing his axe tricks at local inns for his upkeep. This took him to the town of (name), where unbeknown to him, Ayame was there as well, praying in a temple to Obad-Hai, seeking guidance. Ahirial walked in to the temple to give his respects, noticing just a girl at the altar praying. She looked up at the stranger and instantly recognized him by his black and silver hair. She ran to him and hugged him, glad to see her childhood friend again. He recognizer her as the elven way is to forget enemies fast and friends slow. So off they set, in search of Davgretor Darksbane male elf blackguard, to exact their revenge.

After their departure, Ayame decided to become a cleric to assist those who were suffering, trying to amend for not being able to help that haunting day. She still thinks about all the people that were in her village and of avenging their deaths, and still of Ahirial, a friend lost but not dead. Determined to learn from the best she went straight Jozan, a cleric of Pelor. He was a harsh master, working her vigorously until she thought she couldn't go on. When these times came, she took out her necklace and the memories: that was all the motivation she needed to keep going. Her master hadn't let anybody apprentice under him, and only chose Ayame because he knew she had it in her to complete the course. Over thirty years passed, and finally the master deemed her good enough to be taught the basics of being a cleric. So he trained her for ten more years in ways of the healer, when to heal in battle, when you can and cannot heal the sick, and offensive and defensive spells. In his older years, he instilled in her techniques she was not yet ready for so they could be available when she was. He died before he could complete her training, and she never found out his true secret of how to be the perfect cleric. She traveled the lands, going to villages and towns, helping all she could for twenty years ending at the temple of Obad-hai that day meeting up with Ahirial. She never forgot her training or her trainer, keeping his memory alive by thinking of him every time she healed a child sick of fever or told the news that an elder member of the community had passed on. To this day, the training is still a scar in Ayame's memory, most of her youth wasted away to vengeance and a harsh lifestyle.

Tell me what you think? = ) I am a dork and will admit it. I'm starting a D&D game this week and was wanting some input as to what you think of my character Ayame's background. And please, don't just post to get some of Mem's money, I really want opinions here, not ginourmous words. Okay? Thanks bye!
