Yeah, okay buddy. So anything that "resembles" to violence should be a criminal offence?
I am so glad I grew up in the 80's and 90's, none of this stupid "I'm scared of terrorism" laws and "Making rules and regulations that violence is against the rules"; Neither of these things address the cause of the problem, and therefore we will still have these problems until someone with some brains actually puts together some comprehensive solutions for them that don't just involve writing draconian laws and rules.
Oh my god you are promoting violence with your post!!! </end sarcasm>
Gah. I drew tons of guns when I was little. I made comics filled with people shooting each other...and I am the epitome of non-violence.
Maybe, just maybe, they could have asked the little boy: "What were you thinking when you made that drawing?" Huh? Makes sense, right? Nope, not to these stupid freaks. They see a threat!? The motivations behind someone's actions do not matter anymore. Only the eventual consequences do. OMG, what's he gonna do next, bring a real bazooka to school?
Well, if you are to go as far as suspending the little MONSTER, maybe you should interrogate him, like I said.
Since when do freaking pictures kill? Bleh, bad words are gonna come out of this, I'm pulling out.

He's 13. He doesn't have long to wait until he can purchase one for himself and he won't need drawings anymore.
Crazy America...

Space ship here, with a person on it.
>_<
So Megatron was turned from a Walther PPK to a 'Sapce Cruiser' because the toy company wouldn't make a Toy Gun...
I suppose the original Star Wars movies, and just about every other family sci-fi/fantasy action movie ever made should be re classified...
Don't doddle a gun son, go pick up your fathers turkey hunting shotgun and go help him kill things on your 5 day suspension instead...
Seriously, there needs to be a shake up about this sort of thing. Less bleeding heart human rights campaigners and more common sense...
I wonder what the suspension would have been if he had doddled a naked lady instead?
Huh, seems I got my answer.. Looks like 5 days in jail wouldn't have been unheard off...
"Prager, a WND columnist, recently reported on the case in McMinnville, Ore., where students created something called "slap butt day" at Patton Middle School.
He reported that on one such day in February, "Two boys tore down the hall of Patton Middle School after lunch, swatting the bottoms of girls as they ran οΎ– what some kids later said was a common form of greeting. But bottom-slapping is against policy in McMinnville Public Schools. So a teacher's aide sent the gawky seventh-graders to the office, where the vice principal and a police officer stationed at the school soon interrogated them."
The students were read their Miranda rights and hauled in handcuffs to jail, where they spent the next five days.
All because the Yamhill County district attorney, Bradley Berry, brought felony sex charges against the two boys. When he finally explained himself under pressure from the media, Berry told the Oregonian, "From our perspective and the perspective of the victims, this was not just horseplay.""

guns don't kill people, bullets do - guns only make them go really fast
give the kid a big ole' luger
Guns don't kill people, Rappers do! I saw it in a documentary on BBC2!
I think the issue would be a great deal more serious if he had doddled a naked lady, GL. Though I'm guessing said lady would be in far more trouble.
Er, um, that should have been doodled. ;)
