Advice on my char Xenomorph would be much appreciated thanks
va only works when physical damage is inflicted, not for magical damage.

I think the VA is for the JKF. Anyway, I think shifting the minion carrying the JKF to the front and the MM mage to second position may allow your damage dealers survive longer from opponent's MM. Would a pair of NSC be a better option since your MM mage is smaller and AMF will be a problem?
ah, i get it now. my first char on cb2 used the jkf and had va as well. it worked okay until the higher levels. you may not have issues with that though with the mm to back him up. i like!

I would switch from VA to Evasion on the MM minion and equip it with a pair of EB.
Since you are going to be annihilating ST and DX on most tanks you face, training Evasion will help counter Mageseeker PTH, which is the weapon that will hurt you the most as you get bigger.
Although if you want to be a big spender, you could simply buy a big pair of DB and keep VA.
An AoI would definitely help that minion though. It would allow you to place it in the front and better protect it against MM attacks.
Finally, I agree with KM... a pair of NS might be better and a pair of AG.

I would put the junction on one of your EC casters as this allows you to put more exp into AS -- as thats your only method of getting hp.
You also might consider training AMF, as your team would be VERY weak to FB and CoC mages. Especially ones training DM.

yeah the issues i was thinking about in particular was the Evasion on the mage, as well as the AMF. but the problem was which minion would i want to throw AMF on?? the best option i thought would be on the junction/AS minion, but that drains exp out of the AS, as someone already said it's my only source of HP.

The Junction transfer to an EC minion was a good suggestion in order to boost AS as much as possible. I would do that.
With 5 minions, although you are susceptible to FB and CoC attacks, I would not worry about it too much and forget about AMF for now.

When you get a bit larger i would suggest training a small AMF on your AS enchanter if not only to combat base decays and to *help* lower DD damage in general.
Might I also suggest an AoI? --(for your mage)
