This is my idea and would require a total redone cb maybe cb3:) I came up with this while chatting with lostling hence the extracts. if u have any other questions please post. I really think this should be considered though either for this or a new version of cb. It simplifies how things work in my opinion, makes evasion and the ToA less over powered, reduces the overpowerment of weapons.
Dx should relate to how many times u can hit in a round and pth should relate to how much strength that blow carries so pth becomes sih, strength in hit and determines determines the % of strength that gets factored in with each + being .4 of a % so to get 100% of your strength in a blow u need a sih + of 250
then the x on the bow/melee weapons is added on top
that way dx effect will cap number of times u hit in a round eg at 2 or 3
so if u have a elb at x2000 and +250 and 400k st u could hit for a total of 400k +(2000*6)= 412k
it would stop people complaing about the impact of the bows and such
st becomes the dd of tanks :)
lostling weapons just unlock it
it means the ToA becomes friendly again to cause it will help counter ec
<lostling> but then what would happen to evasion lol
evasion would be linked to minimising % of st used in hit cause u are avoiding part of the hit
lostling so reducing the sih
take the plus 250 that gives 100%st take off an evasion of 100 effect and u get a total of 100% -(0.4*100) = 60%st used in hit
evasion of 200 would bring it down to 20% of st and that's without dbs
<lostling> just alittle strength would do alot
=> lostling in what way
=> lostling ?
<lostling> just alittle strength left and you would do alot of damage
=> lostling 3mil st at 20% = 600k
=> lostling add in dbs and it could negate it
<lostling> strength isnt caculated so easily
=> lostling and rember only a few have large enough weapons to get it full sih anyway
=> lostling why how is it currently done
<lostling> the way strength interact with weapon X
=> lostling well what i'm suggesting is a rewrite and i reckon it would simplify a lot of things
<lostling> hmmm true but yea..
