Forging the MsK (in General)

Hm... I've been doing some work on ranger's MsK which was on loan for an hour, and maybe there is a problem with the forging cycle.

This is the X that I'm talking about:

Using verifex's script, I added 7 to the x using around 100 BA.

On a comparison to another weapon, the morg:

Using verifex's script, i add about 4-5 X PER CYCLE.

Anyone see a problem here?

BTW, I was doing the forging with a 1.25M mpr character.

It is also possible that the cycle is not broken, in which case this was a balancing issue done by jon.

I'm not sure how I feel about the balance, if that is what is going on here.

Any thoughts?

Maybe the cycles were different. Why don't you compare the formula in the script to the formula in the wiki?

News flash: Not all items have the same forging efficiency.

I would assume you are taking into account the NW change as well. Have you compared it to another ranged weapon like the ELB, that would be the most telling I think considering the vast difference in characteristics that some items have

If you want to find the forging efficiency of the MsK, just CM me. I'll give you a spreadsheet.

Nevermind. It's already updated in the wiki.... I could have sworn I already did the X and the + on the ELB..........
