Bigger may not always be better :) (in General)

consider this .... when you upgrade armor pass a certain point the PR weight increases a lot for little effect....
i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to calculate this threshold... which is
PR increased for lets say 10%(which is around 100k levels added) increase to EO + ED spells = 300k PR

hence 300k PR = 200k levels

while training 300k PR into EO + ED spells would add 400k levels

hence in this case 300k PR = 400k levels

i see no easy way to calculate the threshold where your better off just adding exp instead of upping your armor... i have some inking about how it could be done but im alittle blur right now =x just woke up... so im asking for suggestions

P.S. the target is to optimize with as little PR increase as possible

If you're trying to optimize PR for the best possible rewards, I'd say forget armor, make a specialized strategy, and use no tattoo (or just a RoE).

Otherwise, it's practically impossible to calculate the 'threshold' when upping armor is hurting you more than it helps you. It all depends on the character in question. If a character at 3m MPR is being talked about, go for broke when it comes to armor, because as it stands right now, it won't hurt you. Same as if your challenge bonus is 100% after you upgrade your armor.

we aint talking about AC boosting armor here :) just skill/stats/spell boosting

I never said I was talking about AC boosting armor. What I said can apply to everything.

I also forgot to include in my post that XP is limited. You only have so much. You can't buy more except by 1) buying another minion, or 2) you can do it indirectly by upping equipment.

ok ignore the fact that exp is limited...
