My new two man NCB, PL, DM and HP. (in General)

I been messing around with this new NCB, starting as another one man Junction enchanters, but evolving into a Two man UC/Anti Mage Wall Team.

An interesting thing about PL. It will absorb as much as the PL minion can, with no regards to the HP of the attacked minion.

This has allowed me to leave the HP on my UC minion at 20. He *cannot* die from being attacked until my PL Wall dies (Or the hit is too much for my PL to absorb the whole blow).

He can die from damage PL can't absorb, which not suffering from AMF backlash is only GA returned damage and the very infrequent RoBF.

So, I'm training DM in place of HP to take care of GA. ;) I've also got VA, so I'll actually end up with more HP. Usually. ;)

I'd train a little HP - otherwise if even a tiny bit GA is left he'll die...

And so long as you're going to rely on GA not being there, why not get yourself a ranged weapon too?

If a little GA damage is there, it doesn't matter as long as my VA is there.

You can't leech with VA in ranged. ;)

Daemon draws strength from his weapon! [151]
Captain M's Assistant's familiar's Guardian Angel smote Daemon (158)

No VA there and I'm toast. ;)

But in all seriousness, I think that sounds like a pretty sound strategy, unless you come across somebody that does enough damage to kill your PL minion during ranged... but with prot + 154 AC, that probably won't happen for a while

;) Couple with the aura from a ToE as well. ;)

OH and as it's the rear minion the only thing that can hit him without going thorugh the UC minion first is a rear MM, which hits my MgS. ;)

And he uses a TSA to regen anyway. ;)

I'd say put a melee weapon on your PL wall. It can gain even more HP with VA, and can help you do a little damage, too.

how can it be anti mage though? :P Any FB / CoC that can output damage higher than your PL level will kill your UC guy instantly. And they can easily do that even at much lower MPR compared to your team hehe especially without AMF.

NK, I'm not really finding any Mages that have done that so far. What with the ToE on the UC minion, plus splitting the damage over two (with the MgS one ususaly taking negligable damage from the split due to ToE Aura and MgS). I'm sure it'll start to become a problem though.

I've trained 500 HP as a little buffer. But I think i'll leave it there for a while. ;)
