NotSuitablForChildren [Yeeeaahh.................] September 19 2007 7:46 AM EDT

Could someone fax me a corn dog or something? Mustard too please.

karlos666uk September 19 2007 7:56 AM EDT

hmm we can,t do that from the uk how would you like a kebab instead

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] September 19 2007 8:00 AM EDT

Don't mention kebabs. Yet another night last night where I gave in to the urge after heavily drinking and pulling a fresher lol. I really need to stop letting my mate drag me out all the time.

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 8:02 AM EDT

I haven't had a kebab for over six months. I did have six McD's cheeseburgers the other day though....:/

Flamey September 19 2007 9:07 AM EDT

why not just have a few quarter pounders? Same thing but cheaper?

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 9:09 AM EDT

I find that involves more grease. Not good. Messy. lol

Flamey September 19 2007 9:11 AM EDT

I find that mcdonalds is grease :P

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] September 19 2007 9:15 AM EDT

6? Were you in a contest?

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 9:16 AM EDT

Lol, no contest. Pub.......Bus..........Home.

Place McDonalds between Pub and Bus.

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] September 19 2007 9:20 AM EDT

Flamey, quarter pounders are the fattiest item on their menu according to a mate of mine who works there.

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] September 19 2007 9:32 AM EDT

I find that difficult to believe, unless your McD's menu differs significantly from ours. We have the 3-patty, several-cheese, multi-bacon pile on a bun, for example. It comes under several names as it waxes and wanes its way around the menu, varied by the addition of barbecue sauce, mushrooms, peppers, etc.

It is always significant in calories, the bulk of them fat.

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] September 19 2007 9:36 AM EDT

Well I'm talking the UK standards that Johnny and I have to endure when we get sucked in by them.

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] September 19 2007 9:38 AM EDT

If the Quarter Pounder is the worst thing on the U.K. McD's menu, it ought to be renamed the Healthy Hunger Hut.

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 9:39 AM EDT

The quarter pounder drips grease, none of the other ones we have do. Most of them look like dried up cowpats.

NSFY September 19 2007 9:53 AM EDT

According to McDonald's nutrition information, the Big Mac has more calories from fat than the quarter pounder (not the double quarter pounder). I couldn't find information on the specialty sandwiches.

Sandwich, Total Calories, Calories from Fat
Quarter Pounder, 410, 170
Quarter Pounder with Cheese, 510, 230
Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, 740, 380
Big Mac, 540, 260
Kirstie Alley, 3.5E6, 3.49E6

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 9:57 AM EDT

The Big Mac's extra fat is in the dressing as far as I recall.

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] September 19 2007 10:02 AM EDT

There has been a big thing here where McDonalds has had to make it's menu healthier, the worst things are the dressings, if you take those out then the quarter pounder is the worst thing we have.
With dressings, the salads are one of the worst things you can actually have :P

NSFY September 19 2007 10:02 AM EDT

So you guys are saying that McDonalds uses different ground beef (that has more fat in it) for the quarter pounder patty ? Maybe they do - seems like extra complication for buying / stocking hamburgers but what do I know.

Anyhow, if you want a greasy burger that tastes about 100 times better than McDonalds you should go to Five Guys - they rule. mmmm - that's some grease you won't care about eating.

Mem September 19 2007 11:22 AM EDT

After all this talk of McDonald's I'm not longer hungry.

8DEOTWP September 19 2007 1:38 PM EDT

yeah I second five guys, make sure not to get the large fry though

InebriatedArsonist September 19 2007 2:32 PM EDT

You wanted unhealthy?

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] September 19 2007 2:45 PM EDT

Curse you for waking my stomach lizard :P

Almost one month poutine-free now, and you show me this!?

Slashundhack [We Forge Our Own Stuff] September 19 2007 5:04 PM EDT

It's been a year since I've had Italian poutine.Oh the horror! Ah thats better Mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

Flamey September 19 2007 5:21 PM EDT

I don't get how quarter pounder can have more? Isn't it just cheese with a meat patty similar to the cheeseburger? I've actually never had a quarter pounder, the other items are more appealing than a bigger cheeseburger.

And johnny they're like $2 each! you spent like $12 on just cheeseburgers? Could've bought two whole large meals with that. (Australian money that is).

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 5:27 PM EDT

Sometimes I just get the urge to sit down and work my way through a bag of burgers. I manage to avoid it mostly. Then I cave.

AdminG Beee September 19 2007 5:31 PM EDT

McHaggis burger. Now I'd pay for that!

Adminedyit [Superheros] September 19 2007 5:37 PM EDT

here in the US we have the dollar menu which has the double cheeseburger. 3 of those for 3$ and its a heart attack in a sack

QBJohnnywas September 19 2007 5:41 PM EDT

We've got the £ menu here too, double cheeseburgers and all. Too much fake orange cheese makes me go a little weird....

Flamey September 19 2007 5:43 PM EDT

haha, gotta love the orange cheese, they must be doing something right with it ;)
