Auto retired character! (in General)

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 9:54 AM EDT

Um, my character "Bank DD" was retired.. just noticed it this morning.

And the answer is "No!" I did not accidentally retire him and no one was on my account. How did this happen? He has pretty much all of my gear and money on him... could I get an explanation or at least a free unretire?

Its PR is a lot lower than its score and thus it got auto-retired.

Kongs response is supposed to read: "Its PR is a lot higher than its score and thus it got auto-retired."

Looks like Bast's comprehension lessons are paying off....

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 11:10 AM EDT

That's garbage. Why does this happen?

TheHatchetman September 19 2007 11:13 AM EDT

takes rediculously over-equipped chars out of the fightlist of those trying to spend their BA at that level

Has for the longest time, and there has been a recent thread about auto retiring. You should've received an email reminding you about raising your chars score so it wont be retired.

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 11:35 AM EDT

Nope, never received a chatmail... or did you say e-mail? I may have received an e-mail. Gah!

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 11:56 AM EDT

Nope, no e-mail either. >.< !! Guess I'll have to wait a few days to unretire.

sooka September 19 2007 7:11 PM EDT

so what is a more reliable free email than yahoo? Gmail? I hate MSN...

drudge September 19 2007 7:18 PM EDT

well, free email is usually your poblem when looking for reliable. but gmail isnt as bad as i've seen yahoo and hotmail choke on stuff.

i use gmail as a "off-site" email to prove to customers that they can receive mails. it generally sends right away. as far as receiving, i dont think I have missed any...its got a spam folder for you to check

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 8:54 PM EDT

Update: Just received the e-mail. =)

Dark Dreky September 19 2007 9:38 PM EDT

Update: Character is back! Thank you so much Unnamed-Wonderful-Admin!

We'll work on "ridiculously" next. (Hint: sub "absurdly" in almost all cases.)

Kong Ming September 20 2007 5:54 AM EDT

Haha, thanks smallpau for the clarification.
