Looking for Advice (in General)

Hey all. I am looking to maybe get minion #2 soon and wanted to hear advice or opinions on what I should do with it. I currently have in storage a Adam, SC, CML, Tulk, and Hod and am wondering if I should get different gear and go about minion 2 a different way or what. I would love to hear what would maybe work and what won't work. I am a total noob and got given the advice for my solo minion on my first day and i just stuck with it. The only strat I added myself was going Mageseeker and adding DM. Other than that it's what thoop started me with 4 months ago. :) Well any and all help would be great thanks.

Before you consider getting the minion, where are you getting the money to hire one?

Your obvious choice is a PL minion with lots of HP and very high AC.

well you lose more to what kinda teams? mages? then maybe a mage wall like mikel if tanks... think you might as well up your DBs instead of buying a new minion lol

Ok. to answer the question from kong ming. I will be saving money as I fight. With this huge bonus right now I should be close to having the money when my NuB runs out. On to the other comments. The PL with big armor is what I was thinking about doing, but was told once the first minion is hit and the PL takes over that damage isn't reduced by armor so basically the only armor would be good for is the hits from MM. Not sure if that is really a big help or not, but again. I don't know much.

Oh and lostling you have been telling me to up my DB's forever. LOL.. I agree with that, but I also think a 2nd minion will help me more than just upgrading one item. I did upgrade them to +50 and continue to upgrade them as I can, but I don't think they are the only solution. Thanks for the help and any other comments are great too.
