Playing in Tournaments- Evening the Playing Field (in General)

I have been joining a few of the tourneys.
I could not under stand how some players get up to 100,000 200,000 and even 300,000 early in a tourney.

So I experimented.
Most everything failed you just do not have the weapons, armor, power, tats and cb to buy the stuff you need to compete.

There is a huge advantage to being the first signed up everyone hits you and if you are winning the the cb and exp. keep piling up.
It is easy to say get a better strat. if that was all there is to it.

But, what I did finely pay off. I checked the battle reports of the leaders and hit everyone they hit. Amazingly, one of them had found a hi character to hit, (150,000 or so range) that had everything untrained and no weapons or armor on this character.
There was no way I could beat this character if it had trained all hitpoints and a base mm or fireball. I am talking start of tourney.

So you guys that have been put off by tourney here is you chance. You will need a friend with a hi level character should be a bank or farm, not their main character they do want to lose any exp. that will happen from retraining. More friends would make this faster so you have more targets to hit and would take less time.

Have a preset time when you think no one will notice. Have your friend(s) unequip and untrain their character. Make your character and hire your minions. Click Specify on the right of opponents list and Inspect them to make sure they are untrained and all equipment is off of them. Then add them to your favorites list.
Once you get them all set up, start fighting your exp. and cb will go up rapidly. So if you know there is a buy now tat of weapon you would like. Figure that into your timing. Now you are ready to challenge for the top. And if anyone questions you.

Just Say "Get a better Strat"

Good luck on you journey through Tourney World
Just So everyone know NOT every tourney player finds a hi level untrained and unequipped character to hit.

Oh, we've been able to do this since cb1 tournies. If you didn't figure this out by now, guess you didn't have a good "strat".

Sure it's not "fair". But everyone else can do this also. Some people just took the time to actually find a "good" list.

Is that "find" or "create", Lamu?

Checking the fight lists of your opponents should be considered a standard operating procedure for successful tournament play. So should be sifting through hundreds of characters looking for good targets. Here are some other tips:

-Choose a strategy that makes it very clear who you can beat, just by looking at your opponents
-Watch the auctions for deals
-Control your score

Colluding with others to give yourself an unfair advantage will probably get you disqualified or worse.
