Is the improved Halidon Familiar any good? Has anyone tried it out?

I always found that the my Hal was useless because of massive ECs
my hall seems to work good, better than anything else i have tried for my SFBM

I tried every tattoo (pretty much) today. Hal had some impressive moments, but I'm not used to playing the tank game:
-- EC hurts.
-- Evasion hurts.
-- Hitting other tanks is hard.
When it can deliver it's payload, man, it delivers. Three hits at 500K each (and that's without Belegs) -- nice stuff. Then the next team on my fightlist could beat me because the Hal delivered nothing.
After all the various tries, the SF still serves my current low-NW stance well. And I realize I don't know how to run a tank at all. *smile*

Low NW relative to other top characters, also his tattoo makes up over half that NW.

Yes, I should have said "relatively" low.
My net worth is 27th on the list, while score and PR statistics are top ten-ish.
