T14: Kill the Carrier


Rules:

1000 starting BA
300% Bonus
No decay

"The Characters" will refer to the two un-retired characters on TourneyPrizes - expect one to be a mage team and one to be a tank team, they will be equipped and trained correctly when I have time, attacks before then will not count.

If you kill the characters, you must chatmail me with a log, and the time at which it occurred.
If the carrier is killed, second place will go to whoever kills the characters next.
You must kill the characters in one fight, double taps do not count.
Your attack must be at least one minute after the previous attack on the characters. (meaning if someone attacks him and loses, you may not have a winning attack count until one minute later)

The tournament will last from Sept. 26th, 5:30 EST to Oct. 4th, 5:30 EST.


Win Condition:
Kill the Characters
2nd: Kill the characters second
3rd: Highest MPR


Prizes:

Kill the Characters: An Elven Long Bow [6x225] (+38) 3,126,793 OR 2m
2nd place: 500k
3rd place: 250k

As this is the first tourney like this, its hard to judge how much of a head start to give - if it turns out to be much too difficult than first place in MPR may win first place

So the soonest we may even *attempt* to kill the carrier is on 6AM eastern time (which is server time) on the 29th (Saturday) ?

Seems to me that the carrier can't possibly go half a day, let alone a whole week, without being beaten, even with a day's head start.

In order to prevent being killed, the carrier must make a well-rounded strategy. Therefore, anybody with a reasonably comparable MPR with a specialized strategy could take him down.

400% bonus for 4 for an entire day....

If its too easy, it'll be adjusted in the next Kill the Carrier :)

Miandrital needed another hour or so, so the tourney will start at 5:30, you may begin attacking Miandrital at 5:30 on the 29th

I may try to be the carrier sometime in the future so that CB can have the first whack-a-thrak tourney.

What makes you say Mian isn't playing? He's still got a day to level, anyways.

Well he only has used 166 battles as challenger.
I also am showing a 400% bonus I thought we were only getting a 300% bonus.

the bonus has been fixed now

Can we get an update on what the win condition shall be now?

Win conditions will be amended tomorrow, prizes will stay the same :)

Also, since the rules are updated, can we use familiars now? But I imagine upgraded ammo is still no-no?
