Which is better? TSA or Adam (in General)

Given the same nw, which is better on a PL wall minion?

Kong Ming September 28 2007 8:43 AM EDT

The wall minion is basically for blocking MM attacks if it matters.

TSA without a doubt unless you have a 477 armor set lol... actually kinda depends how much you dilute your exp

TSA + MGS = own MM

I was wondering the same thing actually. If you have a +60 or higher Adam, does that help more because of the huge AC or less because of the extra PR weight?

Kong Ming September 28 2007 8:45 AM EDT

Its for my 2 minion team. I cannot decide between the 2. I may change the wall to a pure PL battery.

Kong Ming September 28 2007 8:46 AM EDT

In case you ask, I'm aiming for +100 for the adam eventually. Other gears will include SC, CML, TG, AoAC, MgS and HoD.

Well think of it this way... with Mgs and TSA you can hit about 250+ ac no problem... With AC and Mgs you can hit 300+ ac no problem.... and without the Mgs and a full set of Wall stuffs you can hit 350+ no problem. Depends on if you have problems with Mages or not. TSA always helpful when you use it on a pl battery with upwards of 1 mil life. 50k+ life a round is nothing to sneeze at.

So the question remains, which is better against direct damage attacks? I'm not too concern about physical attacks since I'll lose once my main minion dies anyway.

DrAcO5676 [The Knighthood III] September 28 2007 9:22 AM EDT

Well if your talking about magic then I would go with the AC... in the long run when you hit +100 it blocks, what, a straight 21% every round? That would be better especially if you make it to the +10 rounds with mages... otherwise a Tsa helps block about half that every round and regenerates 50k+ hp per round when your in the 1 mil + mpr range. DD spells in that range will toast you for more damage than you can regenerate anyways. So why not block more in the long run with an AC?

Kong Ming September 28 2007 9:26 AM EDT

Well, a +100 adam has a nw of 40 million plus and a +56 TSA has a little bit more than 40 million. So the difference is +44 which works out to blocking another 9% or so. The TSA is able to generate 5% of HP while the adam is able to block out 9% more damage. Hard decision. But a +56 TSA is probably more difficult to sell in future though.
