RYL2: Reunion .. Who is interested?! (in Off-topic)

There are a couple of us playing RYL2 on a free server. So far it is Slayer, lostling, alisa, Slayer's RL friend who use to play CB, and myself. The nice thing about the server we are playing on is XP rates have been drastically increased. I've been playing for a day now and I am level 66 (max level is 100).

Slayer can give you more specifics about how to download the client, what race we are playing and strategy tips.

Free you say maybe this is what I am looking for. What do I need to do?

I will get Slayer to post instructions on how to download the client. I think he is at school at the moment.

To install it you need to download the client, and the patch on their website.

Instructions:

Download and install the client.
Run the Login.exe to install the client - it will autoupdate.

Install the patch make sure you install it to the correct folder (double check
that the installer chooses the correct folder, it should end with
"/RYL2/RYL2") If you install it correctly the music that plays when you open login.exe should
change. If you receive an error like "Missing file: lc2.ogg" or the game just crashes
before you can try and log in, then the patch wasn't installed to the
correct directory (you can just install the patch again to the correct folder
instead of uninstalling ect.)

We are all playing human (Kartefant) race so far, anyone who wants to
play - the only character I would stay away from are archers - pretty much
the entire human race on this server is archers :p

Slayer is -Annihilus--, I think. Something like that. I am Jenniside. lostling is lostling. I don't know is alisa has made her character yet and if she has I don't know her name.

Annihilus- is the character I usually use :)
