Probably the most innovative new band I've ever heard Cont. (in Off-topic)

From here.

They've got a new song up, though I'm not sure it quite compares to "Full experiment".

New as in, a third one? Can't check here, Myspace is blocked :(

Mem October 10 2007 11:21 AM EDT

That would be correct, Ash.

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] October 10 2007 11:22 AM EDT

Cool, heading there after i'm done here :)

Yukk October 10 2007 2:12 PM EDT

I like whatever is up there now, but my eardrums could do without the 20Db to 200Db jump in the middle.
Oh, and get off my lawn !

I'll go see what their other stuff is like.

Mem October 10 2007 3:19 PM EDT

For the uninitiated, the song "Refuge From Fire" is their newest addition.

And the huge jump in the level of volume is what is incredible about it!

drudge October 10 2007 3:32 PM EDT

yukk browses fark? i see "get off my lawn" there in headlines a lot

Yukk October 10 2007 3:57 PM EDT

No, Yukk knows that complaining about loud music makes him sound like and old fart and the "Get off my lawn" mantra is and oldie and fairly well recognised.

ScY October 10 2007 5:05 PM EDT

They were also all renamed....

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] October 10 2007 5:20 PM EDT

I absolutely DIG the sound jump!

The transition from leisurely to groovy is what's special about the three pieces they put on their page. You know, it's like...a "Tame" explosion of the music. Ohh, I understand myself, alright :P

Though I'll agree the first piece is still the best.

Hey, I like this band. Even though it isn't mainstream music, its very interesting to listen to.

Mem October 15 2007 3:02 PM EDT

You can download the whole demo here. Apparently they've cleaned up all of their stuff, added some parts, some new songs, and some vocals. Should be interesting to hear. I'm downloading it right now!

Ack.

"Internal Error"

Site won't let me download.
