Multi?? (in Public Record)

I was looking at my clan Bunny Crew when I noticed that all three members Ianthehigharcher, cypher, and OMG hadn't logged on in about a week. Then I noticed that two of the chars were created the same day. Then I noticed a lot of one sided transfers. Then I was informed that they were all from the same IP. Could a full admin please investigate this?

It's been posted and sent to admins before. But here's what I forgot to send....

Just so long as it is ok with the admins. I was only peeved because none of them have signed in for a week and our clan points have been kinda sucky since they just get farmed all week. Seems like at least one of the brothers would have played in the last week. Maybe their internet is out or something :p

Not to be a hater, but my brother and I (TetraDomino, if anyone remembers him) shared an IP address for years, and transferred things due to RL deals we made (chores for a week for 200K, the like). Perhaps admins were lax, or maybe they just realized we WEREN'T multis. Instead of an insta-ban and reset, perhaps one ought investigate it further. Of course, the activity between my brother's characters and my own were limited, and mostly it was cash flow between us, albeit back and forth. And I also believe we posted the deals in PR anyways, so we were in the clear.

However, may I restate: please investigate it fully before you reach a conclusion. It would not be fair.

Yes, impulse ban/resets are never good. It happened to my cousins and me five years ago. Even though we were wimpy 50k PR chars, it was still depressing D:

So please, investigate thoroughly.

Valgasu was the one that caught me 1.5 months into the game multi-ing... well Iluvatar was the one that caught me, Valg was the one that reset me :P

But I've stayed clean ever since :)

Waited through maybe 2 days of in&outs(one leaves and one enters within the second)before I sent mail to bart since they weren't finding CMs/PMs.

Took weeks to finally get a peep and he admits to being a multi with one so it's not so rash.

Gun - I don't know whether they are multis or not but I have no idea how you have interpreted that chatlog as a confession of OMG being a multi. I see OMG saying he uses the same LAN as cyph rather than him saying he uses the account IantheHiarcher.

Is it possible in your somewhat overzealous attempts to prove OMG is a multi you have mistaken a capital i for a small case L?

If I recall correctly, multi or not, if the trades are one-sided enough to give a player an advantage, that's a resetable offense. And the trades are definitely quite one sided

I'd suggest better err on the side of caution rather than hastily take action just because two or three ppl are on the same IP. I was on another game online, and then my elder sis saw the fun and registered; only both of us have the same home LAN IP, so we got barred as multi. The funny thing is, she joined because it was so exciting, and I was planning to pay up 10 UK pounds to upgrade to the better version, and later on my sis would've done likewise. So, a rather bureaucratic attitude cost them 20 UK pounds, that's like almost 50 usd, go figure.

If anyone was mistaken on the use of L and i it was him. I clearly understood he put LAN. As you indirectly pointed out I asked about Ian three times so am left to assume the yeah meant he used Ian. No mention of another brother. The transfers NK pasted would reasonably serve we were speaking of Ian still. Given my wording it is possible he could've misunderstood the subject, no denying that. However if he thought I was asking about LAN, the child must have ADD and the lack of retort which followed will be supporting evidence. ;)
Doesn't matter, seems they upped and quit on us. More lost rares and less log in spam.
