Question About Strat (in General)

My NCB is about to occur again and I was thinking of a single archer (I know jumping on the band wagon)

I was thinking of just archery trained as far as skills and for items
An Amulet of Might
A Pair of Elven Boots
A Trollskin Armor
A Pair of Beleg's Gloves
An Elven Cloak
A Helm of Clearsight
A Mage Shield
A Vorpal Blade
An Elven Long Bow

Now my question is instead of some of that should I just get a good ToA?
Also should I enlist another minion and if I did what should I train him as?

another ToA archer? ow please no.

archer without TOA? Good luck trying :)

If you can get all the above gears, you should make a decent archer but most likely your opponents are non-ToA tanks and evasion-less mages.

I take it I should go with the ToA then

I would suggest having 2 minions, one tank and another enchanter training EC and HP and wearing a RoBF.
