MPR and Forging Redux (in General)

So a while back some effort was put into the relationship between forging progress and MPR which resulted in a nice neat formula nestled somewhere in these forums.

Then the Change came (specifically the regen rate change) and the neat little formula got trashed by progress.

Awash in nostalgia I feel inclined to attempt to recreate the magic....

So any friendly sorts who would like to CM their MPR, untrained exp, and BA cost are invited to....
NUB/NCB need not apply (there's a whole other alchemy of numbers at work there)
