<Jonathan> mmm tabbed store interface :)
<Godwolf> No way...
<Verifex> hi jon hehehe
<Godwolf> Not funny. That would have been awesome...

Found a bug with armor section of the shops. Clicking on the Shield section keeps me from being able to click on any other tab.
October 24 2007 6:44 PM EDT
Thanks Verifex for tabalicious goodness!
October 24 2007 6:46 PM EDT
This feature is awesome!
Is there a Tattoo tab in the Armor store when tattoos are available?
Yes, all types of armor get a tab, including tattoos ;)
Hopefully we can see more tabs in CB in the future; in places that make sense... of course!

Pretty sweet, I must say, (except for the absolutely breaking of IE. ;).
One thing that catches my eye: will the background area with the information of the tabs still be white like that, or blend in some-how to the background of the page itself (i.e., gray)?
October 24 2007 6:59 PM EDT
We're not done theming it yet.
I'm surprised it doesn't work in IE7. At least it degrades gracefully...
October 24 2007 7:12 PM EDT
That's pretty sweet. :) Now if it wasn't so blinding..
October 24 2007 8:21 PM EDT
fixed for IE7
Very cool. I hope auctions get done the same way.
Keep the re-theming up, it's goin' great.
October 24 2007 8:31 PM EDT
mmmm, tabs. We need more tabs, auctions maybe?
October 24 2007 9:09 PM EDT
I'll add my praise. Great fix for the stores.
October 24 2007 9:30 PM EDT
Well.... rather obvious... Though I fear that's what makes them dumb
Get rid of armor and weapons sections, make it Equips section, and put it all together. Since it's tabbed it makes no difference and it would be way more convenient. Thanks.
October 24 2007 10:14 PM EDT
nope, two rows of tabs would be very ugly.

"Hopefully we can see more tabs in CB in the future; in places that make sense... of course!"
How about active threads page? a tab to see each kind of thread ... i dunno im just spit ballin here:)

HC and I were talking it over in chat and it would be interesting if the coding could be modified to make the section of the pane where the option to purchase either nested, so it stays stationary while the rest of the pane moves, or code it so that way it will scroll down with the page.
Also, another thought to use was to have the items you've selected appear below the Buy Selected Items in a list so that way you're not scrolling up to see what you've already selected.

Jon, Dont forget the tatoos, When there in the store, Will they make 2 rows?
I like it, I like it, I really like it!
October 25 2007 11:28 AM EDT
The tattoo tab is moving around like the shield tab used to do. It is also forming a second row.
October 25 2007 12:41 PM EDT
i'll have to defer to my css experts to figure out a way to get the tabs less wide without a tiny font. NS? Verifex? :)
could you use an icon in the tabs instead of text? hands for gloves, boots for footwear, etc.
October 25 2007 12:57 PM EDT
i think that would look cheesy (Imo)
wingding type images i meant.
October 25 2007 6:42 PM EDT
Should be room for a tattoo tab now. Thanks NS!
October 25 2007 6:49 PM EDT
How about Power Shields? Although rare, people could sell them, and they would have their own category...
October 25 2007 7:11 PM EDT
aw man :(
tell you what, next time someone sells one to the store i'll hack something in to display those under Shield.
and don't you dare do it for a couple weeks GB. :)
