just give it a 15% boost to damage and + to hit.
or, make it provide 20% Damage reduction AFTER AC
or, make it ignore 10% of AC, endurance, and protection
or, all three!
choosing one on the options will still make UC underpowered so give it one of em huh? preferably choice 1

at lower levels, UC tanks are probably the most powerful in the game...

I totally agree with a light vorpal affect. Perhaps make it an item?
Hood of Blah
Similar upgrade curve to AGs? Maybe a bit more lenient.
Each + would give .5 to UC, and a 1% vorpal affect. Seems cool, neh? Vorpal affect would only apply to unarmed combat.

thats fair enough as AC isnt so prevalent at the point in the game where UC owns. But UC is relatively useless later on, mostly due to high levels of damage reduction... A bit of a nudge through this may be productive.

I would suggest more subtle buffs like these to begin with....
1) Raise base AC of Gi from 1 to 10 or more. But at least 10.
2) Make it easier to upgrade for HG after +11. Or should I say, make the exponential effect of HG's upgrade cost much lower

UC's damage isn't the highest output in the game. But that's missing the point. UC is a weapon and a skill. If you want more damage up it's level. Or up your strength. Or wear a ToA...Or use different weapon....
What would be nice would be the addition of a built in VA to one of the UC items....
as an avid UC user, id say give it some salad dressing...i mean..ya its kinda weak...but i still like it

There is a simple way to give UC a small yet very useful buff: Remove the enchantment penalties on the Combat G.I.
After all, only UC minions who have any use for the Combat G.I... No other minion in its right mind would equip that piece of gear.
So remove the penalties on enchantments so that UC minions can train VA without having to suffer the 6,667% penalty.
The enchantment penalty on the Combat G.I. is just cruel man!
Better yet, leave the penalty, but only apply it when an enchantment 's trained level is higher than UC's trained level. That way, enchanters won't be able to equip it.

Even better: Only apply the enchantment penalty of CGI and HG when an enchantment 's trained level is higher than the wearing minion's UC trained level.
After all, CGI and HG are UC specific items.

hehe adding a vampiric glove is a nice suggestion.
- +1% vampiric leech per + , only applicable if UC is trained
- +2 UC per +
- same base AC and same upgrade curve as HG
