Win Condition:
1st - highest MPR
2nd - second highest MPR
Loch - highest MPR of character using lochaber for 3+ days. Minion with loch cannot have DD trained, and is limited to hxbow for ranged weapon.

1st: Mithril Chain Mail +30 and 200k
2nd: Shadow Cloak and 200k
Lochaber Prize: Adamantite Cuirass +50 and 200k



Secret Prize: 5m.

The secret prize can only be achieved if your character uses a very specific
built - to use this build you will have to break one of the above rules. If
you are attempting to go for the secret prize, you must chatmail me your
character name to have it checked. If you are incorrect the character will be
reset but still eligible to win another prize.

My memory is a bit hazy. The tournament parameters are supposed to replicate mid-2002 CB as faithfully as possible, but I may have errors. If anything seems improper, please do tell :D

The inspiration for this was actually Spydah's character, Deviated Septum. But then he went and trained Archery... ^~

I believe the oft forgotten under rated Explosive Shots should be banned prior to start

Plus, you're limited to slings and staff-slings. I don't think it's too open to abuse.

I suggest 300%, 1000 starting, 3500 cap, or something along those lines. That is, fairly standard bonus/start/cap.

Ive already made a character and i only have 200% bonus and 160 ba start. Is this gonna get adjusted or do i need to make a new character.

Yeah, same here. 160 BA, 200% bonus.

It's okay if you can't fix it, lol, I don't think I'll actually play this tourney till the end. I entered more out of nostalgia :)

160 starting BA, 100% bonus. Started just after 6 AM

now this is a good tournament! no decay and no rares and no skills lol which mean the armor+weapon shop will be heavily farmed =)

The bonus will probably fix itself at the cache flush - starting BA I cant fix, but the cap should be low enough that you can get to it without the 1k

Oh - you could also make a new tournament character to get the 1k BA if you want - this will be allowed since I screwed up :p

I'm not sure if it's always like that, as this is my first tournament, but I think the logic behind this is to stop people from buying things from auctions and then at the end of the tourney, dumping all their things into the store as a way to xfer them to their main characters.

However, a pack of a couple thousand arrows is a bit extreme, isn't it?

This cutlass has a NW of $82 and it says I can sell it to the store for $65. I totally agree with TH, lol, this might be going a bit far.

So far the closest team was modeled after Spid from Cb1.

Questions I've answered in CM:
Minion order does matter, MMEE is different than EEMM

Weapons and armor do not have to be specific

Spells must be paired correctly, IE: An EE with AS/AMF on both minions is different than an EE with AMF and AS on separate minions

The order of enchanters if there are more than one does not make a difference, IE: E1 has AMF, E2 has AS, E1E2 is the same as E2E1


because some of the attempts have been pretty close, thats all the hints I'll be giving :)

I would like to point out that you still have the items equipped when the tourney is over so I would like to know if this means that if it takes over 3 days to calculate the results does this mean if someone puts on a loch now can they still win the prize? Technically the rules do not state that the Loch has to be on for the tourney just for 3 days. Any feedback would be helpful :P.

Okay so if you say it needs to be used for 3 days doesn't that mean I should have the same number of battles as 72 hours of BA meaning battles fought and battles defended. It's 2160 by the way.

if you equip a lochaber now, its too late - the rules state you must have been using a lochaber axe for three or more days
