RoBF + Tank (in General)

throw a RoBF on a single tank? or is that a terrible idea? :)

Doesn't seem like one to me; providing the minion has a decent set of weapons; with decent PTH. Otherwise he misses, your opponent misses and you might as well just have a single enchanter wearing a ROBF like the rest of us have!

To be serious for a moment, providing your tank has decent HP/Dex/ST and decent weapons, then there's no reason not to use any of the tattoos. Bar a few quibbles about mixing damage types. Or friendly fire.

single UC + RoBF = good times

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] October 29 2007 1:17 PM EDT

That would be a good idea, especially on a UC tank.

I did that on a single minion BL tank with a BoNE (+100) and no ranged weapon - worked nicely :)

anyone thought about a high AC single ROBF minion? lol

Lumpy Koala October 29 2007 9:06 PM EDT

I would think BL tank works better than UC, though UC offers much more evasive bonus, but it's quite a heavy exp investment to make it good. But the flip side is, you gotta upgrade your weap rather heavily on PTH to compete with all those pesky evasions lying around :P

lostling - the problem with a high AC single minion tank with RoBF is that RoBF = no high AC (no adam and no SC)

lostling October 29 2007 9:30 PM EDT

200 AC is probably possible lol.... lets see that would be 0.21x200 = 42% reduction? i should think thats huge lol considering the fixed reduction by ROBF is after that reduction and more if you choose to use AMF lol
