Clan PR Limits. (in General)

Well, first of all, I got to say this non-linear stuff needs to stop. I hate having NO idea what my actual limit is. The exponential system or whatever it is should be ended, unless someone can make some kind of formula for it...

Secondly, I have a current PR limit of around 300k. Now, if I use the character management section of clans, and I remove my character Godwolf and add character Oduten at then hit process, will Oduten's PR be calculated before Godwolf is removed or after?

Ick.... I hate clans... Of course... Without them I'll -never- be able to compete... *drinks his poison*....

Bit of help here?

> will Oduten's PR be calculated before Godwolf is removed or after

it doesn't matter, oduten's pr won't change by whether godwolf is in the clan or not.

so there is a function f applied to your PR that determines your "clan pr." it _only_ depends on your pr.

so when the clan page tells you "you can accept at most X pr" then that's what it means. you don't know how close you are to being able to accept Y pr, but what it tells you is not tricky at all.

when you make changes to a clan it makes _all_ the requested changes, then checks sum(f(PR)) for each PR that is in the new state of the clan. if that is okay, great. if not, the set of changes is rejected and you're back where you were.

And that is calculated by PR, so if I can get Freed, Beee & NightStrike naked, we can pick up another 2 or 3 people?

*tries to put it in dumby terms*

My question is, basically, since the PR limit is not linear, I can't just subtract Godwolf's PR from the amount of PR allowed in the game, then see if Oduten's fits in that limit. The affects of PR on the clan are drastic, and that 24k PR could open up my clan dramatically to more PR. So... How can both adding Oduten and taking out Godwolf happen at the same time?

So... CB removes Godwolf, calculates new PR and tries to add Oduten. If Oduten fits, it's okay. But if he doesn't, it's like nothing ever happened?

From what Jonathan posted:

It would remove Godwolf.
It would add Oduten.
It would check to see if the clan is over its PR total.
If the clan is not over its PR total, it would accept the changes.
If it was over its total, it would reject _all_ of the changes.

I got -that-. What I need to know is where the PR change comes in.

I'm not sure I understand but..

There is no PR change. All of the changes happen "simultaneously" then are evaluated at the end. If you wanted a PR change, you would have to do the changes in steps or know the "clan PR" function.

I don't know it, but you weren't asking that.
