T18: Tournament (in Contests)

This will be one of four short tournaments.

Rules:

• No DD spells.
• No Ranged Weapons.
• No Evasion.
• No Tattoos.
• The Tournament will begin on November 4th at Midnight, and last until November 6th at midnight.
• There will be no BA cap.

Win Conditions:

1. Defeat "Diggles", a character on TourneyPrizes.
2. Highest MPR
3. Highest Score

Prizes:

1. 5 points, and 100k
2. 3 points, and 50k
3. 1 point

Points:
T18 through T22 will be a string of short tournaments with a day of rest in
between each tournament. The winners will win a small cash prize and
points, whoever wins the most points has a chance to defend his title and win a large cash prize in T23.

Starting BA? BA cap? bonus?

Just be the only guy who can use a minion during this time and you auto win Hatchet... Oh wait.

this seemed a bit unfair for Hatchet to attack a guy with a very high score with nothing on to get 100% challenge bonus due to the fact that one of the prizes is based on highest score plus he got a bonus being the only one able to fight for a bit i dunno maybe im the only one that feels this way but i still think it was a unfair move made by Hatchet

I played the hand i was dealt. Anyone who started their char at 12:02am could have done the same thing...

I am going to assume that there needs to be a time limit between attacks on Diggles so input on that would be helpful.

Agreed. Simply because Hatchet started promptly does not necessarily mean he should be penalized; he had no idea that there would be problems immediately after the start; it was simply a case of pure luck.

It isn't right to say what Hatchet did was unfair by any means. Such accusations are unnecessary and I truly hope I don't see anyone making them again...it is a shame to see them from a member of our community.

hmm - brought up in chat, I think I'll extend the tournament until Diggles is beaten, so the tournament will end whenever he is defeated.

rules say no tatoos.. does that also mean no familiar or rune?

both familiars and runes are not allowed
