Actually, all you have to do is whip up a batch of _anything_ and *try* to sell it at $25,001. The record is the most expensive dessert, not the highest price paid.....

Hum. Actually, it seems that gold is totally non-toxic.
It can, however, in large quantities, cause "Heavy metal poisoning", which is a rather horrific ailment, if left uncured.

So, the sundae gold is not unhealthy, and my impressions were wrong.
However...am I the only one who finds that eating gold is freaking disgusting?
