What would you get? (Xbox 360) (in Off-topic)

Ok, I'm stuck bewteen what Xbox to get not really knowing the differences between the 3 Xbox's (Arcade, Premium, Elite).

I'm also wondering, what are your thoughts on the prices after the New Year? Do you think the prices will drop after the new year, if not, when do you think they will drop?

I was told by a buddy that on Black Friday the Xbox will be selling at the same price but with Guitar Hero III (and guitar) thrown it with it. If the price will not drop after the New Year, i will probably get it that friday. But which Xbox should i get? I'm leaning towards the Premium, but what are your thoughts?

btw, i googled to find the differences already and only found blogs with newbish people saying the only difference was the hard drive..

The Elite 360 has an HDMI output and an 80G Hard Drive.

why does, with every microsoft product, it comes in 3 different flavors!?!???!

I got the Elite version.

All i know is that arcade does certain games the normal 360's dont do,

and im also guessing the arcade version wont do normal games, the

elite has more memory however online sites say that there easier to

the 'red ring of death' which isnt healthy. Its upto what you wanna

do on ur 360, i dont see point in having more memory on a 360 if you

just wanna listen to couple of songs and play some games.

I have the premium version of the 360. It is the same as the Elite, except less Hard Drive space, and its black.. There is some other minor things to it aswell. It was mainly built because people were complaining about low disk space.

HD is can be done from all consoles.

Isn't the HDMI Digital AV Cable what allows you to play games on HD? If so all you need is that cord to play in HD? Its just the elite comes with the cord.

My Premium console came with an HD cable attached to the AV cable.. HDAV cables??
