Play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction? I need your help! (in Off-topic)

Over the past six months, I've been building a Diablo II mod from the ground up, and I'm coming in on the final phase of mod creation. So I need all of you!

If anyone here still plays Diablo II, and has a relatively sound knowledge of the game, I need your help beta-testing my mod. I direct you to the following website:

This is my current mod forum. Signing up is free and literally takes one minute. If you are interested, you are welcome to post here, although the download will be available on the website. I plan on having a release at the end of January.

If you understand a bit how Diablo II mods work, or just love D2, then you're in! All I ask is your feedback in the mod forum, so I can make the mod the best I can.

Well you can read the thread in the forum, and that tells you most of the major features.

It's simply a Diablo II "total conversion" mod, without ruining its original flavor. All the same skills (all effects overhauled, however), all the same areas, monsters, quests, et cetera. It "feels" like Diablo II, but it's better. =]

In chat today, people were asking why I don't include a Tower Defense level, or a Capture the Flag level. Long story short- it's completely impossible. Diablo II is still Diablo II. I'm just modifying the things I can to give it some new balance and a new twist.

Again, I strongly recommend reading the posts in the forum I created. It should give you a pretty good idea of what the mod will entail.

Well, I've finally built a beta release of my mod, just in case anyone is interested. Feel free to download it and check it out.

Whats this for?

I will probably not have amy time to play d2 this week but I thought it would be interesting to know that while trying to extract the file, it says it's corrupt.

I could only read the text file :(

0.1a was so broken, I had to do lots of fixes. 0.1e is quite a bit more stable, with plenty more stuff added in. If anyone is truly interested in playing, I'd strongly suggest going to Charsi's Forge for some more information, as I barely check CB any more.
