I got a xbox (and 360 as well) though i like rpg and such (should have gotten playstation, oh well). I need to think of 1 -2 games to buy that honestly can last me a long time. ( more than 2 hours)
Any suggestion? (anything fun and relaxing is cool too)

I'm getting Mass Effect (RPG) and The Orange Box tomorrow.
I also have BioShock, though I haven't played it yet. I also have Assassin's Creed, but haven't played it, either.
I'd suggest Assassin's Creed and/or Mass Effect for you.

I have a couple friends who have Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect, and they both really like them.
Two Worlds is also pretty good. I'm on my second run through the game solo, and I've also played extensively online with one of my buddies. I think I spent something like 54 hours running through the game the first time, and there was a still a bunch I hadn't done.

I'll echo Mass Effect. It really is a huge game. Not to mention totally awesome!

call of duty isn't long is it?
Call of Duty 4 took me one day to beat - awesome campaign though.

I'm already over 16 hours into Mass Effect and I'm probably only at the first third mark (a third of the way through).

BioShock and Assasin's Creed. No doubt.
If you like Japanese RPG type games you should definitely get Eternal Sonata. It's probably the best jRPG on the 360 at the moment.
Call of Duty is fun, my kid took a break from Halo 3 to play that game for the last week or so. And I've heard great things about Mass Effect, but my kiddo always takes his 360 with him to his mom's and so I see no point in getting a game for that system when I'll never get to play it. I'm still trying to finish the last 3 games I got for that system.
So I gave up, I only get games for the PC now, once I get a Wii, then I might buy some for it, since I won't allow that one to go to mom's :)
