Old Idea: QB Change (in General)

What ever happened to that? As is stands now more and more players are leaving... and just about everyone who deserves a QB title already has one!

I am too lazy to look up the poll right now, but I believe that the "QB title lasts a year (or X amount of time)" won the popular vote. It just makes sense, QB should be a competitive title. The way it stands now, people would only have to contribute heavily to the community for a few months to get into the good graces of the people and Jon, earn their title, and never really play CB again (*cough* Pixelsage *cough*)

I think this needs a change. What do you think?

here is the poll:

the voting was actually pretty darn close between changing it as you stated and leaving it as is.

Actually dudemus almost 70% voted for a change.

hmm, i guess you could look at it that way, i was looking at it as the top two vote getters were "changing it as stated" or "leaving it as is." those two comprised about 70 percent of all votes, however there was only 8 percent of votes separating the two with the stated change coming out on top.

furthermore, if your goal is originally to pare down the poll results to a binary equivalent...change or no change, then the original poll should have just had the two options. i have noticed a tendency on cb to give polls too many options for the use that they are being presented for.

asking something like, the qb tag is now for the career of a cb'er, should it be changed to just a temporary tag or remain as is? the two voting options would then be change qb tag to be temporary or keep it permanent.

once the results of that poll come in and if change is called for, then create another poll with different options on how to do it. this may seem like splitting hairs to some, but there is quit a bit of psychology and science involved in data gathering such as polls or marketing research and the resultant data is only as good as the process.

I always find that statistics are hard to swallow and impossible to digest. The only one I can ever remember is that if all the people who go to sleep in church were laid end to end they would be a lot more comfortable.

Haha, I like that one, G_Beee.
