Loaning Tags (in General)

Lostling brought this up in chat, and i think that it is a great idea.

Why not have people who take out loans get a Tag put on them... so that we can monitor their selling off of USD and quitting out on people?

Sounds like a good idea to me, though i do not know how big of a hastle it would be to implement said change....

It is a loaner's responsibility to track his own money... If you are giving out millions in loan, it'd make sense to set deadlines and properly manage the money. Some people do a great job at that. Others don't.

I do not oppose to the idea of such a tag, it'll be convenient. But it should be the responsibility of the loan giver to monitor the status of his own money.

i would also suggest that to avoid abuse... that the tag has to be submitted by the creditor and accepted by the debtor

I think this would be more useful to those considering loaning money to someone...if they see they already owe to someone else, that may impact their decision

Whenever I loan money or set up a payment plan with somebody, I dig through their posting and check their records. Prudence is important, especially with large transactions.

A tag would make big lenders' business easier. I think it should be a purchasable feature or cash sink. Ideally, an organized capital market in CB would be nice where central bank plays the intermediary and such swindling like KMG cannot possibly happen. In exchange, central bank takes a cut of the profit and cash sinks some more. That would be a lot of work to code and probably low priority.
