The Brain (in Off-topic)

How does it work?

What I mean is that I took a year off from school. I'm now trying to apply to a college, but I find that I can't even put two sentences together in response to a question that they want me to answer. I can't think.

How do you make youself think after not doing so for 8 months? How do I turn my brain back on?

Put yourself outside of yourself and try to sound smart. Even a bit smarmy. You can do it if you project.

Then pull it back a bit and pull it into yourself. Find that spot between you and your smarmy, projected self. You can do it, I assure you.

Above all, remember you are just as good or better than everyone else out there. That is paramount.

Strong handshake. Nice smile. Eye contact. If you've got the goods, you're in.

Your brain really must be lagging. All the applications that I've seen, at least for the US, are due by the end of the calendar year (see: two weeks ago).
