Playoff bets (in Public Record)

Spread gives 14.5 points to SD against NE, and 7 points to the Giants against the Pack.

I'll put 750k on the Packers. (Meaning they have to win by at least 8 points for a win, and 7 for a tie)
and I'll put 250k on the Patriots. (meaning they win by 15+ points)

Any takers?

I'll take my chargers +14.5 over your pats, 250k.

Bet is confirmed. Only thing is that the Pat's aren't my team, they're just the smart money here, IMO :P

I'm the opposite :P

The Pats ARE my team, and yet after seeing the Chargers pull through even without LT, I think then can pull a close loss :)

But even I lose the bet, I'll still be happy for my Pats cleaning house.

750k on Big Blue if you're still up to it.

Confirmed! ^_^

The Packers *are* my team, and IMO smarter money here ^_^

Talk to me next year if the Bears can get back to where they belong. Kicking your cheesy butt all over the place. >.>

And Hatch, I was raised in Kenosha and I'm still a Bears fan. <.<

Woo! Pats are in the Superbowl, they won 21-12 :)

gogo 19-0!

Stunned... In shock... In awe...

This doesn't even begin to voice my feelings atm... I would say disgusted, but it doesn't fit. It was a well-won game. Well-played on both ends. Money has been paid out (sent Mitt 250k after the pats game, sent RX3 750k at the ending of the fourth quarter when i knew covering the spread was impossible.).

On a semi-related note, I hope Brett comes back for another year... Even if just to throw one completion. Someone with a carreer like his deserves better than to end it with an interception...

Well if the Giants had lost, it would have been their fault and they would have deserved it. Missing 2 field goals in a row, especially a chip shot, is ridiculous, along with all the dropped passes.

I'm happy that the Giants are in the Superbowl, but I won't hold onto false hope. They won't even come close, playing the way they did the last two weeks of post season.
