After this happened, I realized it probably looked a little suspicious to any outside observer:
Jamba in da Juice (Fsha) 75.73.220.75 [RP08]ColonelCustard (Pandaman) $16375 6:35 PM EST
[RP08]ColonelCustard (Pandaman) 75.73.220.75 Jamba in da Juice (Fsha) A Rune of Enlightenment ($11030) 6:34 PM EST
Explanation:
This Jamba character is my brother. We live in the same home, and use the same internet connection. For this reason, we have the same ip address.
We also discuss and agree on things verbally, for the most part, which is why there is no record of plans to make this exchange posted beforehand in Public Record. If he rips me off in-game, I can just cruise on over to the other computer, and punch him, no admin intervention needed.
Why it appears so one-sided:
The_Hatchetman, who has been very helpful to us both, lent me his RoE for me to try out, free of charge. I found it not to be very useful, as it took the place of three rather helpful pieces of armor on my team, and unequipped it after losing to portions of my fightlist. My brother, meanwhile, wanted to borrow it, but was dismayed when Hatchetman told me he had already lent it to me. So, I sent it to him, on Hatchet's behalf, but asked him to pay me back the transfer fee because I am working on figuring out how many battles it takes to re-gain the money spent on buying NCB BA, and the ~16k difference would have thrown off my results.
I did not sell him an RoE for a ridiculously low price. Just in case anyone thought I did. It was Hatch's when I had it in my inventory, and it's still Hatch's now that it's on his minion.
