Idea to improves forums (especially change and np) (in General)

Perhaps adding stickies. Forums that will stay at the top of their genre, and maybe even at the top of the home/forums list... This would allow us to make a guide for new players, that will stick at the top, allowing us to give craploads of useful information to newbs, with only one line: "see the 'new players guide' in the new players forum, it will offer many tips from many points of view". It would also allow for changes to sit at the top of the home page, so that every time something changed, there weren't 30-40 people coming into chat and asking what's up with something they saw. It would also allow the annual charity threads to be left at the top, without needing bumps.

I (along with many others) have never minded answering questions, and will continue to do so, regardless to whether or not "stickies" are ever made... But this would be quite the convenience. Of course, only admins would be able to mark a thread as "sticky" and could unmark it at discretion... Just putting this idea out there to go with the other tons of (often hair-brained) ideas I've posted as of late ^_^

put it in the wiki and we can link it from the Policy in the NP forum without adding "sticky" posts (which I don't want to do, they get cluttered really really fast)

hehe... see why I credit my ideas for being hair-brained? :P

I'll get on that in the morning ^_^

What would be involved in the game guide? Remember it can't be very detailed as the game is already text-based and when you start a game you don't want to spend 10 minutes reading something, after you've just done the tutorial.
