Name Changing Issues? (in General)

Over the last 48hrs, I have tried to change my name six times. Every time, I'm greeted with

"The database choked on our update. Most likely you tried to change your name to one that is already taken."

So... Whats going on with this? Can we put the FB thing aside to fix the database issues with CB?
