I was given a hot air popcorn popper for my office a few months back, but it never worked. The corn just spun around and around and never popped.

One of my younger employees called his mom and said, "Mom, we have one of those old-fashioned popcorn poppers here and can't get it to work, can you help?" Obviously Microwave popcorn was his "modern" version.

I just about died. Old-Fashioned??? Hot air poppers are "new-fangled" to me!

I still pop mine at home on the stove top in a pot with oil!

And JIFFY POP was the wonderful new thing when I was a kid! :-)
