...yeah right.
Takes a Scotsman to take the team to the final. How did I miss this
in the news !?
Now, if only the Scotsman can beat that England team or whatever they're called in the superbasket final thing, it's a win win for everyone over here.
Yea, GB deserved to lose after not capitalizing on two missed field goals by Tynes...
Yeah, Tynes blew two chip shots that would have won the game in regulation. When it came time for the field goal in overtime, Tom Coughlin didn't even know the kicking team was headed out onto the field, as he figured Tynes would blow it again.
It's the Patriots and GO GIANTS!!!
(I love New York.)

Lol, give the guy a break! It was pressure, and he hit the 40 yard field goal in OT with MORE pressure.

"Scottish-born kicker Lawrence Tynes took the New York Giants into the Super Bowl with a 23-20 upset of Green Bay."
hehe... just goes to show how stupidly people look at things like this... He missed 2 easy FGs, that shoulda won the game, but because he managed to hit the last one, he's a hero...
On the flipside, imagine this scenario:
3 seconds left on the clock, team A is down by 4, team A's quarterback hurls a ball 40 yards into the endzone. team A's wide receiver almost makes the catch... but drops it... Team B wins, Team A loses... It is now the wide receiver's fault for not winning that game. Not the O-line that gave up 7 sacks, not the QB that threw 3 picks, and not the halfback that fumbled. No, not even the defense that allowed the other team to get ahead in the first place... The wide receiver that made 8 catches that game for over 100 yards is charged with the loss...
