Mael has arrived! (in Off-topic)
:D
Even though I was slightly late (flight landed 30 minutes early!) Mael has now touched down and is enjoying the clement English weather!
Next, to arrange a drinking time! ;)

seriously sounds like so much, CBer's getting together. Is G coming down with you guys?
I don't think G can make it this time. :/
Mael's going up to Durham Friday to Sunday, looks like Thursday or Monday are the best bet.

The weather's not so clement today. The wind nearly strangled me with my own scarf! Raindrops smash into your forehead like rocks, but don't bother with an umbrella, since it'll turn inside out in a second.
But still cool to be here, and the weather over the last two days was beautiful. Spent almost all the time outside walking.
OK, enough of you people, I'm off fight through the rain and people to find more museums.
Oh yeah, hitting up a pub with GL and Johnny tonight, if they can decide where to go!
Weather is quite bad today.
The wind pushed my car out of my parking space and 1.2 way across the schools car park.
I've left it in gear now. ;)

I'll try not to fall asleep on the train home tonight! :D
Brilliant Night!
I didn't fall asleep on the train home this time, but I was schooled in 80's children shows by a random bird in the pub. :/ /sob

Yup grand night. But to be corrected by a woman about 80s fantasy childrens TV, GL....sigh....

I know mate!
But you hadn't corrected the mistake either. ;)

Too old to completely remember the programme. Pubs, clubs and women were more important by that point.....

Yup, we had a great time out with Johnny and GL. We didn't go too heavy on the booze, since we all had things to do the next day, but we had some very interesting conversations. GL, really, I think you should do a poll for that important question you were asking. See what actors people can think up! :S
Oh course, the strangest part was on the topic of children's TV shows, when GL, Johnny, and my girlfriend, who is from Vietnam, all starting discussing a Japanese kids cartoon based off a Chinese fairy tale. Monkey, anyone? Is it just me, or did we not get that in Canada/North America?
OK, bedtime. More plans for the morning.

Well, I've made it back home after a long, long, long painful trip. I caught the flu the day before leaving, so I wasn't feeling well. Then on the flight overseas, there was a little kid with tourettes (or something like it) sitting across the isle from us. Honestly, for the whole 8 hour flight, the kid did not shut up or sit still. He kept blabbing nonsense words, hopping in his seat, running up and down the isles. If you've ever played "Rayman Raving Rabbids", he sounded exactly like a rabbid. So in short, I didn't get much sleep.
The second short flight was fine. Actually, I fell asleep as soon as I sat down, and woke up when we arrived. I couldn't believe we were there so soon. Then the fun part: a 3.5 hour drive home on about 2 hours sleep. After an hour we stopped in parking lot and slept for about 4 hours, then made it back home no problem. Then slept. And ate. And now to sleep again.

Mael said: "We didn't go too heavy on the booze..."
Serves you right then. You wouldn't have caught the flu if you'd filled yourself up with the local "preventative medicine".
LoL Hyrule!
I got a glowing finger in the sky poitning at me! ;)
