I haven't even found the tutorial yet that I'm supposed to finish to receive my mentor. I have, however, read through a good portion of the highly informative wiki. I think I'm going to enjoy this game a lot.

It's good to hear that you're wiki-reading! :)
My guess is that somewhere along the way you deviated from the tutorial instructions and it got lost? Try going back to the Train page. That's about the best I can do from my limited experience with it. :P
