I just got a fake email from paypal, saying I needed to update info, and the website has a fake login paypal thing and everything. Everyone PLEASE be careful.

As a note. I do know they're always around, just warning paypal users to be extra cautious while this one is around.

A tip: use a separate email address (or addresses) for anything you may run a risk to be scammed at (like bank account, eBay, paypal) and keep this address as private as possible.
This way, any official looking email you receive on your regular account *must* be a scam.

Another tip: Check the url before you put any information in ;)
If it ain't paypal.com, it ain't paypal ;)

I have a gmail address for my Paypal, and they instantly flag all phishing scam mails with a warning on top apart from junking them into the trash. So, even when sleepy you wouldn't fall for their tricks.

The easier solution is to never ever follow the links in them. If your bank wants you to change a setting, then you go to the bank website, login and do it. Don't follow the link. The real emails will just about never have a link anyway.
